Who are Friends of L’Arche San Francisco Bay Area?

We are a heterogeneous, culturally diverse group of people working towards forming a L’Arche community in the San Francisco Bay Area (possibly in more than one location). Some, but not all, of us are parents of special needs children. We share faith in a higher power, are interreligious, and hold the common belief in the humanity, inclusion, and gifts of all individuals.

Friends of l’Arche San Francisco Bay Area is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions to Friends of l’Arche San Francisco Bay Area are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Founding a L’Arche Community takes time and requires financial and spiritual support, a committed board of directors, and trained leadership.
